Américo Roble Español - Tinta de Toro 100%, honors the twinning of the Ibero-American peoples and remembers that in 1505, in the City of Toro, the 83 Laws were signed, the seed of our current legal system. And when King Don Ferdinand of Aragon the Catholic was in Toro, and during the preparations of the Cortes that were to be held in that city for the signing, the sovereign convened the Board of Navigators, attended, among others, by Américo Vespucci, Bartolomé Colon as advance of the Indies and brother of Christopher Columbus, the latter's two sons called Diego and Hernando Colón and the intrepid Alonso de Ojeda.
On April 24 of that year, in Toro, it was the Catholic monarch himself who granted the Castilian Charter of Nature in favor of Américo Vespucci, from whose name "AMÉRICA" was derived. For this reason, at Bodegas Díez Gómez, we are honored to share that our sister continent is named after a Toresano, a Spanish Castilian and Illustrious Ibero-American: Américo.
